LEGAL / COMPLIANCE
EA Commodities Ltd responsible trading statement
Effective 11 August 2026. EA Commodities Ltd connects buyers and sellers across East Africa. For each transaction, EA Commodities Ltd will clarify whether it acts as broker, agent, introducer, intermediary, buyer, seller or principal. Responsibilities for quality, title, risk, transport, payment, inspection and documentation must be agreed in writing rather than inferred from the website. EA Commodities Ltd screens relevant counterparties and associated parties using Dilisense, available at https://dilisense.com/en, as part of proportionate sanctions and due-diligence checks. Screening is one control within a wider review and does not guarantee that a transaction or counterparty is risk-free. EA Commodities Ltd expects counterparties and intermediaries to comply with applicable sanctions, trade controls and anti-bribery laws. Before proceeding, the parties may need to verify identity, ownership, authority, source of funds, destination, commodity, licences, end use and relevant red flags. No commission, gift or payment should be offered or accepted to obtain an improper commercial advantage. We encourage clear origin information, lot-level records, responsible supplier engagement and proportionate checks for labour, environmental, fraud, corruption, conflict, quality and forced-labour risks. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for their own standards, certifications, import rules and destination-market obligations. This statement is not a guarantee of compliance or quality for every transaction. Concerns about bribery, sanctions, fraud, traceability, unsafe conduct or inaccurate documentation should be raised promptly with EA Commodities Ltd so they can be recorded and escalated appropriately.
